It's the easiest thing in the world to judge and pass comments. There are two reasons why people are so quick to pass judgments. First, people have minimal exposure to life. Second, they conveniently ignore what they don't know. It becomes quite difficult to deal with people having both of these "qualities"😜. We see the most educated as well as the illiterate people falling into the trap. In fact, the educated people have sharper logic to deny the existence of reality beyond what they already know.
But why would anybody be disinterested in knowing the reality? Why would Ravana reject Rama being God? Why would Duryodhana not be able to see his own greed? Why would a terrorist not be able to see that he is killing innocent people? Why would the people sitting in the topmost positions in this world not be able to see that they have made the world so chaotic? Why do viruses attack us and not produce their own food? Why do we have parasites in this world? Why is there so much inequality that while so many are dying of hunger, there are people who spend mindlessly millions on functions just to demonstrate what they have?
On the other hand, history and mythology are full of examples like Rama, who left his entire kingdom at the drop of a hat. Gautama, who left all the comforts of the palace to search for truth. Mahatma, who did not pursue his practice of law despite having a degree from London and devoted his life to the freedom movement of India. Sri Aurobindo, who despite being a genius, dropped everything and devoted his life to the spiritual upliftment of generations. History is full of such examples. Freedom fighters happily sacrificed their lives and the lives of their kids and family members. They suffered unbearable and unimaginable tortures.
"I" carries a wide variety of meanings for different people across the world. Some identify only their bodies with their "I", while for some "I" includes their kids, for some their families, for some their community, for some their beliefs, for some their friends, and for some their wealth and status. Thus, different people have very different meanings of "I". Having created the meaning of "I", we learn different ways of interacting with "others". For some, "others" are just a tool to protect and promote the interests of "I" and they try to suck the maximum of "others" to enhance their "I". Such people will not hesitate to manipulate and exploit others. For some, there is a symbiotic relationship between "I" and the "others," and they help "others," and in turn expect help when they need that. Some feel like giving to the "others" even at the cost of the suffering of "I".
The most dangerous category of people is the one who has a very limited understanding of "I" and has the sole mission of using "others" for their benefit. There is a complete disconnection of their "I" from their "souls". That's why they are so restless and desperate to suck some "life" from "others". They fail to realize that "life" is inside their "soul" and unless they connect to their "soul", they will remain restless, even if they suck the "life" from the entire planet. However, in that deep state of ignorance, it is almost impossible to make them understand and realize. The more they suck "others" and the more they become restless because they never get to taste "life".
All types of animals and plants exist in this world that have evolved over the last millions of years. Similarly, consciousness is also evolving. We are slowly evolving to connect fully with our "souls". However, there would be people who are still at the first ladder of evolution and completely disconnected from their souls. They will continue to exist along with the people who are at the topmost ladder of evolution and completely one with their "soul". There would be snakes, lions, and cows, all existing at the same time, probably to keep all the possibilities alive. People decided to be like Hitler when the message of peace was being spread by Gandhi. It is for each individual to decide whether he would like to suck "life" from "others" to suffer a greater pain of "inner disconnection" from his "soul" or would like to give away the fixation with "I" to experience the joy of that inner connection with his "soul". We may live like a "mosquito" looking for an opportunity to suck the blood of an innocent man, or like a "saint" having dropped the sense of "I" in a state of complete merger with inner self. Both extreme possibilities exist in the same world, and we just have to make a choice.
