The Divine AI

While listening to songs on YouTube, the AI keeps suggesting the songs that we may like. In fact, nowadays, it makes a playlist of the songs we play often and keeps playing the same when we are listening to the songs passively. Sometimes I feel that the divine YouTube also works the same way. We make our choices between fear and love. Based on our choices, the divine AI keeps throwing suggestions at us based on the choices we have made so far. The more we fear the more our mind is filled with auto-suggestions that frighten us.

Fear can eat away our entire life and we may die without listening to the songs of love. Fear of clearing examinations, fear of losing friends, fear of not getting the partner of our choice, fear of not getting the job or losing the job, fear of loss of the investments or properties, fear of insult, fear of losing a relationship. There are infinite songs of fear on the divine YouTube. The more we listen to these songs and more of these songs will be suggested by the divine YouTube.

Not so that the divine YouTube has no songs of faith and love. But the more we listen to the songs of fear, the more is the probability of the AI throwing suggestions for the songs full of fear. However, the moment we make a conscious choice of songs of love, the divine YouTube answers promptly. However, the moment we become unaware and inattentive, the next suggestion is based on past history. We again start listening to the songs of fear. Initially, we have to make conscious efforts attentively for listen to the songs of love and faith. However, the more we listen to such songs, and more such suggestions are thrown by the divine AI.

In a society that is full of fear and insecurities, where everybody is busy listening to the songs of fear and insecurities, by default the AI of our kids is getting automatically tuned to keep repeating these songs. Songs of fear in one or the other form. It takes at least some amount of awareness on the part of the parents to help their kids tune their AI for the songs of love and faith. If these efforts are not made at a very early age, it becomes almost impossible to break free of the habit patterns and auto-suggestions of fear that our mind keeps playing.

Probably the worst thing that can happen to a person in life is getting a position or privilege that he is not qualified for. If a person does not get such a position or privilege, there are two possibilities. Either he makes efforts in which case he is busy making efforts. Or he lowers his expectations in that case also there is not much of a problem. However, when an incompetent person occupies a position or gets a privilege, he becomes full of fear. At the core of his heart, he knows that he is not worthy of the position. But due to the greed of holding on to the position, he becomes a control maniac. Slowly and gradually, this desire to control his playlist becomes full of the songs of fear. He forces these songs of fear on everybody's playlist he wants to control them.

Somebody somewhere in the world of divine internet keeps playing the songs of love and wisdom and sometimes these songs flash into the playlist we are listening to. The deep desire for love and freedom resurfaces and we start searching for more and more such songs and our AI slowly starts throwing more such suggestions. We start observing the beautiful play of the divine much beyond the limited world of fear and insecurities. People like Kabir, Tulsidas, Rahim, Sri Aurobindo, and many more have sung such beautiful songs. The moment we start listening to those songs, they start taking place in our minds and we start getting more and more such suggestions from the divine AI. We start meeting more and more people with the same mindset and listening to the same songs and also realize the futility of listening to the songs of fear. The more we listen to the songs of love, the more we get interested in them and wonder why we wasted such precious time listening to the songs of fear

Weak Minds

I don't know what Rama would have felt like when he developed Vairagya looking around at the temporariness of life, and all the material objects. He had the blessed company of saints like Vashistha and Vishvamitra who could answer hundreds of his questions with example and their experiences. King Dashratha was spiritually mature and therefore rather than snubbing the Vairagya of Rama, he could request Vashistha and Vishvamitra to answer the questions asked by Rama. When Siddhartha had similar questions in his mind, he had nobody to answer and his father, in fact, tried to keep him away from the questions about life. That is the strategy of probably the entire society today. If you can not answer the question, prove the question itself to be wrong.  That is what happens to anybody having these questions about the purpose of life. The first response he gets from society is that all these questions are a waste of time. In the entire history of humanity, we have not been able to ...

Choice of Happiness

I often wonder as to what is the meaning of equality? Some are born into families that can spend thousands of crore rupees to make their kids happy, and many can not buy enough food for their kids and their kids sleep hungry stomach and still remain happy and grateful. Some travel by private jet while many have to travel in the locals like cattle. Some own many buildings worth thousands of crores while many sleep on the streets. If somebody knows how to manipulate the systems, the sky is the limit in this world. However, all these hold true, if we believe that happiness is a by-product of money. In fact, I see that the reality is quite the contrary. First of all, life is much more than money. There are 12 houses in Astrology representing 12 different dimensions of life. The first house represents health, the second wealth, the third initiatives and younger siblings, the fourth vehicles, properties, and everything that comes as a result of our initiatives, the fifth new direction, and k...

Use of AI to understand the purpose of Life

I was listening to an interesting debate on the following YouTube link that ignited a series of thoughts in my mind: https://youtu.be/o2aAx3wk6dg?si=qLSwKnR0Cp4TyLPC It is interesting to imagine a world where we can get almost everything done with just a command right from driving a car to flying a plane, doing the homework to making presentations for the meeting, taking care of the plants to taking care of the parents, getting the food cooked to get the surgeries done.  After listening to the discussions, I was quite amazed at the idea of delegating the decision-making to the AI and investing our time in exploration. Decisions about whatever is in the domain of known may be taken by the AI in the future and human beings may be busy exploring new possibilities.  However, how will AI make the decisions? Suppose, during the Ramayana times, AI was fully developed. How Kaikeyi would have taken the decision? I believe for AI or anybody to make a decision, the desired goal has to be...
