If two solid objects can't merge with each other, where is the possibility of love among the solid egos? Humans are so full of themselves and define their ego boundaries so strongly that it leaves no scope for merger. An ice cube can only merge with water if it melts. Without that merger, there is no love. At best there may be an arrangement or adjustment of the solid objects for a purpose like the car's four wheels arranged in a pattern to make the car move. Where there is love, there is no need for any adjustment and when there is a need for adjustment, there is no love.
We see so many solid egos in the society. The solidity of their desires for material objects, powers, worldviews, beliefs, and thinking processes. We also see many people with liquid egos who are still bound by the gravity of the material world and yet get free of the solidity. These people are ready to mingle around, examine different perspectives, and be open to all types of ideas and yet consider the material world to be the ultimate reality. We have many people with egos as light as air. They are no longer bound by the gravity of the material world and are free to take any shape or size. They examine different ideas and viewpoints and do not get stuck on any of those. They can see through them and therefore do not get solidified or liquified on any of those ideas and viewpoints.
It is very difficult for the solid egos to even merge with the liquid ones leaving aside the lighter ones like air. However, the ecosystem does have an impact. Till these "ice cube egos" are comfortable in the refrigerator, they do not have any occasion to melt. However, the world is not like that. There would be hot weather where they would have to face tough situations and the ice cubes would melt into water. They would get to see a new perspective on life. The smaller streams of water will merge with the bigger streams. People will also organize themselves in communities and nations and these nations and communities will keep reorganizing themselves. That is the nature of water. There is a definite merger with the melting of the solidity and all the molecules of water flow together in a common direction towards a common purpose. However, such a merger is still guided primarily by a purpose. There is no freedom to stay back. If you decide not to flow with the purpose, the river is not going to wait for you. You just turn into an isolated pond.
Coming out of the field of gravity is not easy. Only a few molecules of water that have internal strength can dare to rise above the material world. It feels quite insecure to leave the security of flowing with the stream to enter a quite unknown world. That too alone. Nobody knows whether a molecule of the vapor will be lost in the dry air or will form part of the cloud. Yet, freedom is so dear to that person that he is willing to let go of the security and safety of society and drop all the fixations. Air has a very different chemistry. It gets absorbed by the plants to make the food and when other animals eat that plant, the air again becomes free. When animals breathe in the same air, it goes inside the body and helps these animals digest the food and again get free of the field of gravity. There is no seeking when the air goes inside the plants or animals. It just freely participates in the play of nature.
There can not be love among the solid egos. At best there may be some arrangement towards a common goal. The liquid egos flow together in a common direction like the streams of rivers. There is a merger but that merger is primarily driven by a purpose. When the people who have come out of the field of gravity come together, they create magic. They make life possible on this earth. They are not afraid to let go of their identity. Oxygen to carbon dioxide and back to oxygen. However, ego still remains. There is freedom but there is an identity still. The identity of being the "giver" is held by the molecules of oxygen. Unable to realize that carbon dioxide is a "giver" in another way. Helping plants to make food. There still remains a strong attachment to "giving" my way. It is only when every identity vanishes, that there is a possibility of love. In a world of adjustments, arrangements, and missions, true love is a rarity. That is why Radha, Meera, and Hanumana are so attractive to the entire humanity that they are revered across cultures. All the worldly seeking can give us a size and shape but not true love which is the call of the soul and in the absence of which we will always remain dissatisfied and that dissatisfaction will always result in wars and exploitation of one by the other, because the feeling of "one" and the "other" will grow more as our identities gain strength.
